ICTA’s Launch of the Report on countrywide assessment of ICT access and usage by households and individuals – Current Status, Trends and Issues

The project completion report of ‘countrywide assessment of ICT access and usage by households and individuals’ was launched by the Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) during a ceremony which was held at Hector Kobbekaduwa Agrarian Research and Training Institute (HARTI). Key stakeholders in the industry were present for this event, some of the key participants included secretary to the Ministry of Telecommunication and Digital Infrastructure, country representative of Intel, representative of Sarvodaya Fusion, representatives from LIRNEasia and other ICT sector stakeholders.


Representatives of ICTA and Skills International team members who carried out the project presented the findings of the countrywide survey. Further clarifications were provided to the members of the audience by the team during the Q & A session.
